An affectionate and fitting tribute to the late actor who breathed life into "Stoney Burke," "Hawaii Five-O" and countless other movie and television roles.

I came to discover Mr. Lord on May 15, 1998 and was saddened to learn that he had passed away only months before. But thanks to video tape, photographs, old magazines and various on-line sites, the man's legacy continues to touch and enlighten millions of fans.

Jack is much more than just a handsome face to me. He has inspired me to create numerous characters in my writing: Ken Romero, Wil Wilmington, Brandt Stone, John-Joseph Walters and Steve Ryan. The latter is my effort in paying homage to Jack's most memorable role of all, Steve McGarrett. A six-book series is in the works that features this character. The first book is complete and is waiting to be proof/editted by famed ghostwriter, Amy Hammond Hagberg.
